The SCS 16U team with an abbreviated roster traveled to Marlborough, MA July 19-21 to compete in the annual Women's Beantown Classic tournament.  It was a great weekend of hockey as SCS had the opportunity to compete against several strong organizations that represented multiple hockey regions: MA Spitfires, VT Clovers, Roc City Elite and WC Swans. 

After a slow start in the tournament, the SCS girls produced both offensively and defensively in the second two games but fell short of a playoff berth. 

Beantown was a fabulous opportunity to showcase our players to college scouts and gave our younger players a glimpse of the physical play at the 16U level.
