Our 10U team was invited by the Pittsburgh Penguins to take part in their Puck Pals program during intermission at the Penguins game against the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday afternoon, March 8th. The team conducted a shootout exhibition in front of the sell-out crowd at PPG Paints Arena, the perfect way to showcase girls hockey on International Women's Day.
When not on the ice, the team had fun exploring the arena and did their best to cheer the Pens on to a win. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, Carolina came out on top, but it was a such a fun day and one the team will long remember! Thanks again for inviting us, Pens!
