The Steel City Selects 14U team took part in the NGHL Columbus Day Showcase. The tournament was held locally from October 9, 2021 - October 11, 2021.

The girls went undefeated. After opening the tournament with a 10-0 win against the Piedmont Predators, they finished out day one with no goals against, putting a 5-0 win on the board against the New Jersey Titans 14U.

Sunday held just one scheduled game, and the goaltending kept their streak of no goals allowed. The 7-0 win against the New Jersey Bandits meant that they would participate in the semifinals on Monday morning.

Posting an 8-1 win against the Princeton Tiger Lilies first thing Monday morning, they had a quick turn around to participate in the championship game. They were prepared to take on the Adirondack 46ers, and ultimately received the championship banner after the 7-3 win.

Congrats to this great group of girls, many of which are new to our organization. Keep up the good work!
