Steel City Girls Invitational Games to be Featured as Part of IIHF's Global Girls' Game and USA Hockey's National Continuous Game

USA Hockey and International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) announced the schedule for the 2017 Global Girls' Game and the USA Hockey National Continuous Game and two Steel City Girls Invitational games will be featured. The 5:30 pm game on Saturday, February 18th between the Steel City Selects 16U team and the Lady Sabrehawks 16U team will be part of the National Continuous game. Then, on Sunday, February 19th at 4:00 the semi-final game for the 16U Pool A teams will be featured as the U.S. entry in the Global Girls' Game.

About the Girls' Global Game the USA Hockey National Continuous Game 
On February 17-19, 2017, the International Ice Hockey Federation will host the 2017 Girls' Global Game. The Girls' Global Game is a worldwide initiative where forty-four federations will host one-hour games to be held in succession across the world. In conjunction with this event, USA Hockey will highlight girls games at varying age levels across the United States on February 18 and 19.
