After a long stretch of games against Tier 1 opponents, the Steel City Selects U14s took two hard fought games from the visiting Rome Grizzlies Tier 2 team over the weekend in convincing fashion without allowing a single goal against.  Shutouts were recorded by goalies Corrine "Taco" Brunetto and Cydney Mathers.  Goals were scored by Sydnee Pitkins, Julia Fuchs, Hannah "Hanks" Kiss, and Anna Zahorchak in the 4-0 game one victory.  Gianna Sasselli scored the lone goal in the game two 1-0 victory.  The wins improve the 14U team's record to 13-5 on the season.
