Steel City Selects 16U opened their regular season in convincing fashion with a 4-0 weekend sweep at the Adrian College Showcase. 

Wins were recorded against North Shore Warhawks 1-0, Kensington Valley Ravens 7-0, and Detroit Honeybaked 2-1 and 3-1.  Shutouts were earned by goalies Corinne "Taco" Brunetto and Cydney Mathers.

The team takes next weekend off to prepare for games in 2 weeks against Syracuse Nationals and Syracuse Valley Eagles  on September 10th and 11th.
